Okay, now that the circus is over, the time has come to evaluate our predictions.

As the alert reader will notice, we managed to make only eight mistakes out of a grand total of eight. Now I am not one to make excuses, so I will not try to wriggle out of this embarrassment. Instead I will point out the probability of getting every single rank wrong if I were to guess wildly --- around 37%.

Perhaps there is a better way to grade your performance. Compare the number of teams that each team is ahead of in the ranking, against the number that you predicted, for example!

@sameer: Man, whatever the grading strategy, I found the 100% erroneous results, for lack of a better word, interesting.
@roshan: It was the underdog's law speaking through me. Little did I know that Ganguly's ego will yet again prevail his performance.
